A Dinner party made from 9 sheets of OSB
DXD & IDSWEST
Vancouver / 2015
The concept embodies the notion of “Raw into Refined” - creating a functional, simple, modular, flexible, and sustainable furniture system rooted in an honest, experimental and modern design language. The walls are created with the left over sheets from the CNC cut furniture pieces and are each lit by a single sheet of DLC Lumisheet. The design allows for various re-configurations of the tables, legs and benches from the same set of parts. Additional furniture could be on demand cut and added to a collection; with each sheet taking 65 minutes to cut by computer controlled milling, and $25 dollars in material cost.
